Let your voice be heard, Speak Out

I try to stay out of politics, as far as my business goes. I believe my job is to encourage others.

However, with local elections coming up soon, and campaigns for national elections kicking up,

I would like to remind everyone that our government officials are put there by us. They work for us. We pay their salaries. They are supposed to be doing our bidding. Now, obviously, there are many different opinions of what they should be doing and they have the difficult job of deciding which ideas are the best for their district. I can’t imagine it’s an easy job. I mean literally – you can’t please everyone.

If you feel strongly about something, speak out.

You can contact your elected officials and let them know your thoughts. The more they hear the same things coming from the people they represent, the more reason they have to stand up and take notice.

Let your voice be heard. If they don’t know how “we the people” feel, they will vote the way they think is best, which may not be what “we the people” want.
