Grandchildren Interruptions

Grandchildren Interruptions

I have always said that, to me, it’s “family first.” Which means I will miss work if my family needs me, I will skip housework/chores if time with my family presents itself, and I will find a fill in for a prior commitment if my family comes to visit.

Since last Friday, our oldest granddaughter has been visiting with us. She is a typical 8yr old who enjoys being busy. With all of our fun activities, I have not taken the time to write a blog this week. I’m sure you’ll forgive me. Since she is heading home Monday, next Friday’s blog should be back on schedule.

Interestingly enough, I saw a license plate yesterday that said “If I had known having grandchildren would be this much fun, I’d have had them first.” HAHA. I’m sure many of you grandparents will relate to this. For those of you who are not yet grandparents, wait for it… it’s a ton of fun.

Oops, gotta run, we’re off to the Museum of Natural History today.
